Frequently asked

Everything people ask us, by topic

From the first trial to the season's register: what My Millésime does, and what it does not.

Getting started

Do I need to install anything?

No. My Millésime opens in the browser of your computer, tablet or phone.

How does the trial work?

It lasts 30 days from the first sign-in, with every feature, no credit card.

Can I bring my current data?

Yes, from CSV files: cellar plans, vat types, vats, appellations, pallets, plots, crops, grape varieties, treatments and monitoring measures.

What does My Millésime not do?

It does not file customs returns (DRM, CIEL), nor the harvest or stock declarations. It does no accounting, invoicing or payroll. It keeps the register of your cellar and your vineyard.

In the cellar

Which cellar actions can I record?

Grape loading, grape intake, wine or must received, racking, oenological additions (sulphiting included), bottling, labelling and dispatch. Each one shows the movement before it is saved.

What happens if I make a mistake in an entry?

You correct or cancel the action. Before saving, the app checks everything that followed and blocks the correction if it would make a later action impossible.

Who can change an action already saved?

Someone with the Editor or Admin role. The correction is first replayed over every action that followed.

My cellar has no signal. Is that a problem?

No. Actions entered offline are kept on the device and saved when the signal returns.

Can I attach documents?

Yes, to cellar actions and to vineyard treatments: an accompanying document, a label photo, a lab analysis.

How do I trace where a wine comes from?

Open the lot's history: it goes back through its blends and rackings to the plots or growers it came from. It downloads as a spreadsheet.

What are the QR labels for?

You print labels for your vats and pallets, on A4 sheets of 24 or 8. Scanned with a phone, a label opens the record; in a form, it picks the vat or the pallet.

In the vineyard

Where do my plot outlines come from?

From the land registry, through the IGN online service, over the IGN aerial photo. The INAO appellation areas show as a layer, for guidance only: they are not a check.

How do I keep the spraying register?

Record each treatment on its plots, with its product picked from the official E-Phy catalogue. The season's register prints from the same page.

How do I record growers' grapes?

With a grape intake: the grower or the plots, the net weight, the varieties. The grapes stay in a cold room or in bulk, counted in kilos, until they are loaded; past 48 hours, they are flagged.

Stock

How do I follow my bottles?

Bottling creates the stock, by pallet, lot and label. Every dispatch keeps its reason and its recipient, and the stock dashboard shows the month's dispatches.

Your team

Can my staff record entries too?

Yes. Give each person a login and a role: Manager to record actions, Editor to also change saved ones.

Which roles can I give?

Reader: looks without changing anything. Manager: records cellar actions and treatments. Editor: also changes vats, plots and actions already saved. Administrator: also manages the accounts. The holder, the first account, sets each user’s rights object by object, and names or removes an administrator.

Your data

Where is my data hosted?

On servers located in the European Union. It is backed up, and restoring it is tested.

If I stop, what happens to my data?

You take them all, as CSV, without having to ask.

Can I take my registers out as spreadsheets?

Yes. Cellar actions, stock and its movements, treatments, measurements and the lot traceability register download as CSV. These files do not replace your customs returns.
